Die Pfandverordnung für Einweggetränkeverpackungen, die alle Details für den Start im Jänner 2025 regelt, ist nun finalisiert. Die Eckpunkte der Verordnung wurden unter Federführung des Klimaschutzministeriums gemeinsam mit Getränkeherstellern, dem Lebensmittelhandel und den Sozialpartnern Arbeiterkammer und Wirtschaftskammer erarbeitet, gab Umweltministerin Leonore Gewessler am Montag bekannt. Die für die Organisation des Pfandsystems gegründete zentrale Stelle "EWP Recycling Pfand Österreich gGmbH" arbeite mit Hochdruck an der Implementierung der Infrastruktur und Logistik
