The new look Kia Stonic is great to drive. And the new mild hybrid powertrain is great, too.

But this is a small SUV, and it's the THIRD revision of it since it launched here, having initially made it to the market in 2017 (so, we're almost at Mitsubishi ASX territory).

It isn't that plush or primo, and nor is it a high-tech masterpiece. That might be endearing to some, but in other ways, it's outdated and overpriced in a part of the market that doesn't really allow much rope...
