Meanwhile, Royal Enfield has taken its time refining the Himalayan 450. The new model features the all-new Sherpa 450 liquid-cooled engine — finally breaking away from the brand’s air-cooled traditions. With around 40 horsepower on tap and a six-speed gearbox, the Himalayan 450 is now not just charmingly rugged, but genuinely capable. It’s lighter, smoother, and more tech-savvy, featuring ride-by-wire throttle, TFT display, and multiple riding modes. For a brand once mocked for “retro clunkiness,” that’s quite a glow-up.
