The Philippine Armed Forces are gearing up for a massive defense upgrade in 2025 under the Re-Horizon 3 phase. Top priorities include two fully armed frigates for the Philippine Navy, 12 additional FA-50 fighter jets for the Philippine Air Force, and 12 more 155mm self-propelled howitzers for the Philippine Army.

Other prospective big-ticket projects, like anti-submarine warfare helicopters and land-based anti-ship missile systems, are also in the pipeline but depend on funding availability.
