1993 New 1993 Song Release 🎶 Celebrating the Best of the 90s

Here's my love letter to my favorite decade - the 1990s. It's hard to describe how beautiful growing up in that era was. The 90s had a through line of purity to them. If you were a kid, you simply loved being alive. No screens. No cell phones. Nowhere else to be than the present moment. Boredom (and creativity) abounded. We lived most of our lives outside. Cars looked amazing. A new movie coming out in theaters was a massive deal. McDonalds was a once a year luxury if our parents could afford it. Anyone with internet didn't know how to use it - or why it made such a loud sound on the phone lines. Everything took more time. Paper maps were mainstream. People talked to one another on the street - they were kinder, softer and sweeter. Little things mattered. It's an era that I'm constantly hoping I can get back to, even though I know it's long gone.

I wrote 1993 as an amalgamation of what music I remember my parents playing on long summer road trips. My siblings and I would ride for hours in the back of our Chevy Suburban while they rotated through Kenny G, Peter Gabriel, Bruce Hornsby, Jars of Clay, DC Talk or whatever local smooth jazz radio station they could pick up. That era is burned into my psyche every time I sit down to write. And here it is now in full 90s glory...
