Much of computer and information security depends on and cryptography. In this class, we'll survey the three major branches of cryptography and explain how public-key cryptosystems work. Then we look at how cryptography is used to secure data transmission. There's a brief discussion of the pros and cons of passkeys. This is the last class in the course.
