Sometimes the difference between photo management and photo editing is confusing. Photo management is what you do to keep everything nice and neat and findable. Photo editing is all the different touchup work that you do to your photographs. This can be anything from very simple work such as changing the contrast, to something more complicated such as cloning. In order for photo editing to become useful, you need a good photo management system. If you can never post photos you'll never be able to get any work done.
