केंद्र सरकार ने हाल ही में 8वें केंद्रीय वेतन आयोग (8th CPC) के लिए Terms of Reference (ToR) जारी किए हैं. तीन सदस्यीय इस आयोग की अध्यक्षता जस्टिस रंजन देसाई कर रही हैं. लेकिन ToR में 7वें वेतन आयोग से कई अहम बदलाव हैं, जिनसे कर्मचारियों और पेंशनर्स में चिंता पैदा हो गई है. 69 लाख केंद्रीय पेंशनरों को इसके दायरे से बाहर रखने का आरोप लगा है.

The central government recently issued the Terms of Reference (ToR) for the 8th Central Pay Commission (8th CPC). This three-member commission is headed by Justice Ranjan Desai. However, the ToR contains several significant changes from the 7th Pay Commission, which have raised concerns among employees and pensioners. There have been allegations that 6.9 million central pensioners are excluded from its scope.
