Suryakumar Yadav (44) and Tilak Varma (44) were the top-scorers while Jonny Bairstow and Naman Dhir scored 38 and 37 runs, respectively. For Punjab Kings, Azmatullah Omarzai was the best bowler with figures of 2/43. In response, Punjab Kings chased down the total in 19 overs. Shreyas Iyer was in sublime form as he took apart the Mumbai Indians bowling attack in Ahmedabad. He smashed an unbeaten 87 off just 41 balls, hitting five fours and eight sixes to help Punjab Kings enter the IPL 2025 final. This is just the second time that Punjab Kings have made it to the final of the IPL, the last occasion being in 2014 where they lost to Kolkata Knight Riders.
