P T Sir is a Tamil movie directed by Karthik Venugopal. Starring Hiphop Tamizha Adhi in the lead as Kanagavel, who just so happens to be a physical education teacher. The story involves that transformation of Kanagavel from being an all-feared instructor into a crusader for women's safety after his experience with his neighbor, Nandhini, played by Anikha Surendran. The film does something ambitious-it touches on so many critical social issues, such as sexual harassment and victim-blaming, though within a commercialized wrapper of fight sequences, romantic subplots, and such.
Despite the heavy subject matter of PT Sir, it has received mixed responses.
