Prince Harry advocates for online safety for children at CGI
Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, 40, warned parents about the harmful effects of social media on their children at the 2024 Clinton Global Initiative event in New York on Tuesday, September 24.
Prince Harry took out his phone and told the audience a picture of his kids Archie and Lilibet was on a lock screen, and then he pointed to pictures of children displayed on a big screen behind him, portrayed as lock screens, saying they were victims of social media usage.
Their stories were the inspiration for the Archewell Foundation, his and his wife Meghan's charity, launching the Parents Network, a support organization for parents of children affected by online harm, Prince Harry said.
