Government Launches Rationalisation Plan to Boost Efficiency of Statutory Bodies & GLCs 🚀

Federal statutory bodies, government link companies (GLCs), and related entities will be undergo a rationalisation programme to maximise their effectiveness, said Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar.

In his special address to civil servants, “Public Service Reform” on Tuesday (Sept 10), the Chief Secretary to the Government (KSN) said this was in line with the effort to synergise the public and private sectors.

Shamsul Azri explained that the programme aims to eliminate overlapping functions among related bodies and strengthen strategic cooperation between public and private sectors, including revitalising and reforming government-linked entities under the Finance Ministry.
