PLDT still smarting from controversial loss to Akari

The PLDT High Speed Hitters are still haunted by their controversial loss in the knockout semifinals match against Akari. Team captain Kath Arado said that they have to work on themselves first and settle down before thinking of the next conference. Head coach Rald Ricafort shared that the team will work on its healing since the movement of his players in the game against Cignal was different. PLDT lost to Cignal, 25-20, 19-25, 18-25, 23-2 in the battle for bronze at the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) 2024 Reinforced Conference at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig on Sept. 4, 2024.
