DoE eyes nuclear power for PH in 2032

Energy Assistant Secretary Mario Marasigan says that the department eyes nuclear power as a cleaner energy source in the year 2032. Marasigan reiterated that currently, the country has an abundant supply of energy for its demands. He says that the recent outages were forced shutdowns due to emergency circumstances such as typhoons among other things.
