PARENTS PUTTING OUT LGBTQ+ CHILDREN

Parents in Trinidad and Tobago are putting their children out of the family home, because of their sexual orientation. That's the claim by sex and gender justice group, CAISO, which shared findings of its 'Insights from Wholeness and Justice Report', ahead of the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia on May 17th. CAISO says various forms of violations against members of the community occur frequently, and they're calling for legislative amendments to enable redress. Rynessa Cutting has more.
