The government will drop the controversial proposed constitutional amendments on citizenship, Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution told a press conference on Friday (March 22).
He said the two proposed amendments that would be dropped were19B and Section 1(e) Part 2 of Schedule 2 of the Federal Constitution, meaning that the current clauses would remain.
