Massive Solar Magnetic Filament Erupted Recently

NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory captured a huge plasma filament erupt from the Sun recently in multiple wavelengths. Coronagraphs from the ESA/NASA Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) "will soon reveal if it has an Earth-directed component," according to Space Weather
