Assessing the Impact of Daniel Theis on the Celtics

The Celtics lost Robert Williams III early to foul trouble vs the 76ers as Sean Grande saw the moment as an example of Boston taking steps back to move forward later when they traded Daniel Theis, Jeff Teague and Javonte Green to free up minutes for Williams, Payton Pritchard and Romeo Langford/Aaron Nesmith. The Celtics could've used Theis in consecutive nights where Williams struggled, Grande says, and were flat out a better team with him around. Theis scored 14 points with 10 rebounds and 3 assists in a Bulls win vs the Raptors Thursday.
