Sarpanch shot dead in Baramulla

On Sunday initially it was suspected that it was militants who had gunned down a sarpanch affiliated to ruling National Conference in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. Javed Ahmed Wani was shot at and critically injured inside his house in Kreeri area of Baramulla late Sunday evening. Suhail Bukhari reports about the fear it has struck in the valley and how the state govt has not attributed the death to terrorists.
