Aquaman Surpasses $600 Million Globally, Becomes Warner Bros.' Top Grossing Film of the Year

'Aquaman' Swims Past

the Global Box Office This makes it Warner Bros.’
most profitable movie of the year. In less than a week, 'Aquaman' has earned $122.6 million in the U.S. This gives it around $300k more than fellow DC film 'Justice League'
in the six-day period. It's not yet known if James Wan-directed flick can beat theglobal box office totals of 'Wonder Woman'
and 'Batman v Superman,' which took in $821 million and
$873 million, respectively. It could receive help from China, which
just granted the movie an extended
theater run until February 6. Since opening on December 7, 'Aquaman' has taken in $254 million at the Chinese box office.
