Syria cease-fire is violated after less than an hour

The Syrian civil war cease-fire, negotiated by the United States and Russia, was violated less than an hour after going into effect.
Aleppo residents reported that a government helicopter had dropped explosive cylinders on a rebel-held district and a rebel faction stated that it had killed four government soldiers in the southern province of Dara’a.
There have been extensive doubts expressed among many that the cease-fire, timed to coincide with the start of the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha, would be respected.
