Mathematical equations
from the years past
adding, dividing, subtracting,
and multiplying into thoughts
that I cannot control.
I'm either going to let them all
out of their cages and let the
words rush you like rabid k-9s
or I'm just going to be quiet.
Yes so quiet that I can hear my thoughts
as I drift them off into the ocean
like a viking at the end
of his burial ceremony.
