John Abraham | Trivia

John Abraham was born on 17th December 1972 at Mumbai, India. John studied at Bombay Scottish School, Mahim in Mumbai. He got his bachelor's degree in honors economics from Jai Hind College and got his MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. He was the captain of his football team at Jai Hind College. John trained in Tae Kwon Do under master Javed Khan.
John started his modelling career with the song "Surma" by Punjabi singer Jazzy B. Later he joined a Enterprises-Nexus as a media planner. He won the Gladrags Manhunt Contest in 1999 and went to the Philippines , where he won second place for Manhunt International. Following this, he was signed by Carrie Models in Singapore and did some modelling there; he later modelled in Hong Kong, London and New York City. To improve his acting skills, Abraham joined the Kishore Namit Kapoor acting laboratory and completed an acting course while juggling modelling assignments.
