Binge eating disorders after bodybuilding competitions are quite common as after months of dieting, your body is in a state of starvation...

And once you have that freedom to eat whatever you want, it's quite hard to control your hunger and eating. After being lean for so long, the sudden physique changes from uncontrolled eating can be quite hard on the mental health, I've been there... More than once.

For me, outside of any competition prep (like the other 10 years of training and dieting), my relationship with food is completely fine. I don't binge, and I don't actually have any bad eating habits.

But I'm a human being, I don't have an impenetrable willpower.

Although I wasn't able to completely avoid binging this time around, I was definitely in a much better position mentally as my experiences helped me develop a proper approach to get me back to where I am today, and I hope this video can at least help someone - even if they aren't bodybuilders.

So here are my tips to how I recovered from my binge eating.
