Fender American Standard vs Squier Affinity Strat 🎸

In this video I did a tone comparison between my favourite Stratocaster, a Fender American Standard 2013 and a Squier Affinty Strat from 2018. This is not a detailed review but instead I just wanted to find out what the Squier sounds like compared the the Fender.

The price tag of the Fender is around ten times the price of the Squier and it is of course a much better built instrument but I was just interested to hear the difference in tone coming through the amp.

Both guitars have come with a SSS pickup configuration and I compared the tone from all five pickup positions. All the samples were played through my Kemper Stage Profiler.
