Nigeria's Christian Community Under Siege: Over 125,000 Christians Killed Since 2009 ✝️

Nigeria is one of the most dangerous places in the world to be a Christian. A Nigeria-based NGO reports that since 2009, more than 125,000 Christians have been killed, including 600 clergy members. In addition, 19,000 churches have been burned and 1,100 Christian communities displaced. Human rights groups point the finger at Islamic jihadist groups, but Nigeria’s government disputes those claims.

On Sunday, Nov. 2, Churches around the world will pray for persecuted Christians. Ryan Brown of Open Doors tells CBN’s Gary Lane how Christians are suffering in Nigeria and why the support of the global church means so much to them.
