This Lenovo IdeaPad Y700 gaming laptop is in my repair shop because it is slow booting up. And the reason for that is it uses outdated tech which is an 8 year old HDD. These slow hard drives are old technology that were common in an old computer that needed more storage space in your pc than an SSD could provide for the same cost. Now, with Solid State Drive prices so low, there really is no excuse to not upgrade your old HDD!
