'Junoon' a track stemmed out of a simple 'will of exploring art.' Have always been fond of art, in various ways. And I think a lifetime would be less to understand the vastness, the magic, and the soul that art brings to the table. It all started with a simple idea of expressing the inner chaos but in rhythm, and this art form started growing on me as soon as I stepped into it. I’ve realized that ‘Writing’ is empowering & ‘Music’ is what adds soul to life. Combining it, comes to this. :) ‘Hai Junoon’ was a show I was fortunate to be a part of. It acquainted me with the character named ‘Sebi’ – Subhash Mhatre, who wasn’t just a character for me but a person I can feel, live and understand. ‘Sebi’ inspired me to be the rebel against adversities. One random day, I called ​⁠@lazerxmusic (Piyush), who also worked on ‘Hai Junoon’, told him I want to try this, he was inn immediately and soon we started working on this project. We lived in different cities, communicated, recorded this song at my place. And laughed a lot! Jio Creative Labs, the makers of ‘Hai Junoon’ were interested in this and I am grateful they supported me thoroughly in this venture. I am a fan of raps in my own way, and this is my step towards it. This is an anthem, to Sebi, to the little kid in me, and to all those hustling day and night to fulfil their dreams and manage their survival. This is to the respected rappers and song writers I learn from, i get inspired from. Remember, World can be a weird place with a lot of noise. It can get to your head. It can seem unfair. And that’s life.
