One night while on patrol duty, a corrupt police officer- OC Harun, with the help of his sub-inspector - Moloy Kumar, gets hold of a regular corporate guy - Abir Mirza, accusing him of being a pickpocket. OC Harun decides not to take Abir into custody and instead demands money. While they are in the middle of a brawl, Harun receives a call from the police station where Afnan Chowdhury, the son of an eminent industrialist and a major influencer within the government, has been charged with murder. Involved in a car crash, bystanders have brought Afnan to the station. Wary of Moloy witnessing his petty crimes, Harun leaves for the police station along with Abir. At the police station, whilst Afnan anticipates his release, the wife of a motor garage labourer, whose husband has died in a terrible accident that same night, is trying to register a complaint in vain. The general public have assembled outside along with the press all demanding an outcome of that particular night.
